Check labels

When we are in the store we normally go for the cheapest and what we think the healthy. But really it may be cheap and i understand that we all have a budget, but it isn’t really the healthiest thing we pick out. and it may say on the front that it has lots of nutrition and whole grain, but have you ever checked the labels in the back of the product.? maybe it’s a time to start if you haven’t already. There are plenty of ways to keep it cheap but healthy. Hope you enjoyed another little tip of getting healthy.

here are some different types of pastas that are healthy too

Life Aboard the Traveling Circus

I’ve never been a foodie. I can’t tell you the difference between cooking with vegetable oil or olive oil, I rarely use measuring cups, and I’m still not sure how much pasta to throw in the pot for two people. However, I can tell you that nobody appreciates a gourmet meal quite like a kid who grew up on TV dinners.

When I was little and I would go to the grocery store with my mother, it seemed normal to just point out what microwave meals I wanted for the week. When I would eat them at the end of a long day, I would always feel empty, a little gross, and always hungry, hungry for something with a taste; with flavor.

Orchiette1

A holiday on the other side of the world is all well and good, but then there’s the jetlag to contend with.  Currently, sleeping through the night is somewhat of a challenge and staying awake at work is only achieved with multiple cups of coffee and not allowing myself to sit down for too long, anywhere.  These are the times that I am thankful that I do not have a desk job.

Orchiette4

Gradually, my brain is convincing my baffled body that night is day and day is night.  Is it just my imagination that this transition gets more challenging the older I get?

The plus side to being wide awake against my will at some unearthly time is that it gives me a few unaccounted for hours with which to do things.  My hunger pangs led me to trawl through the pantry before the sun was even up and…

less soda more water

If you drink lots of soda and not a lot of water. Ask your parents to limit you down to 1 or 2 a day so you will get used to drinking water. Which your body needs around 32 oz of water a day. So even if you think not drinking as much soda will be hard it won’t trust me i have a soda addiction but i’m getting better at drinking water. Because without water you don’t stay hydrated which isn’t good. And make the first step and limit your soda.

Have a nice rest of the day(:
